Kingdom Love Stories
Mr. & Mrs. Mcfield
"A few months ago, we wrote our love story; but you know that saying, "....There's his side, there's her side, and then, there's the truth somewhere in the middle". Well, THIS entire relationship, THIS is our middle, THIS is our truth, Our love story is 99.999%, we've decided to keep this one short, yet sweet. While preparing for a long day as a dance Coach, I was reminded that I needed a bag of ice from the convenient store (Shell Gas Station). As I proceeded in the store, I noticed a man holding the door open for me to enter. As I proceeded to walk out the store to retrieve my bag of ice, Walter said, "Excuse me, ma'am.. are you married?" Walter continued with a barrage of questions. Playing hard to get, I couldn't resist his persistence. He finally asked for. my number and that started our friendship. From that moment, we grew to love and now have grown to a lifelong commitment to one another."

Spencer & Abena
This beautiful story of love, connection, and destiny is the perfect example of how life can surprise us in the most unexpected ways. Abena and Spencer’s journey began in 2011, when a simple click on a website called "Chatroulette" brought them together. Despite skipping each other three times in a row, fate had other plans, and on the fourth try, they started a conversation that would change their bives forever.

"The only way we can describe our journey is fate. It seems cliche but we had cross paths years before and at the time we both weren’t in the right season. Eventually God lead us back to each other and we’ve never been stronger. Seeing that all that we went through to create what we have now, truly gives you a perspective of fate and trusting Gods plan. Real rap. (Roodly’s party)"

Gala & George
Everything aspect of Gala and George Dobbins ceremony was approached with prayer and compromise. Though they both had come together to plan this small intimate wedding, they went with the decision for a May date. The Waldorf Astoria Atlanta BuckHead Hotel provided the perfect backdrop for their big day. While the bride was able to add her own touches, the couple credits wedding planner Michelle Harrison of Michelle Harrison Signature Events and with bringing their vision of their wedding to life and helping them find Black-owned vendors to pull it off.

Ashley & David
Some love stories feel like they’re written by fate, and Ashley and David’s journey is one of those tales. It was a seemingly ordinary Wednesday, August 4th, 2021—just a day like any other. Ashley, someone who rarely ventures into restaurants, decided to break her usual routine and grab a quick meal. That decision led her to Chipotle, and unknowingly, to the beginning of a new chapter in her life.

For someone like me, whose life and career often intertwine with the stories of others, sharing my own feels both exciting and humbling. While I won’t reveal too much, I want to offer a glimpse into the lessons I’ve learned as I navigate a relationship that’s teaching me more about myself, love, and God’s timing.
Stepping into a new relationship, especially one rooted in intention and prayer, is a journey unlike any other. It requires vulnerability, patience, and above all, trust—in each other and in God. Relationships, much like the holiday season, can be both joyful and challenging, filled with moments that push us to grow and others that remind us of the beauty in simply being present.

Ebonee & Q
"Once the sessions were complete, we were ready for the next step in our relationship. Q asked my mom for my hand in marriage, and she obliged. He started to plan the proposal and involved my daughter in the process. In early November we went on a horse and carriage ride through downtown Raleigh. After the ride Q gave my daughter a bouquet of roses. He expressed how much he enjoyed getting to know her and promised to be a loving and supportive part of her life. He asked for her permission to propose to me, and she gave it. He gave me a bouquet of roses, kneeled on one knee, pulled out a beautiful ring and asked me to marry him. The evening was a magical start to our first holiday season as an engaged couple. We are planning to marry by Summer 2025."

Love isn’t what you say, it’s what you do! We are intentional about honoring each other, respecting each other and supporting one another no matter what. With our frequent flyer miles growing rapidly, our faith expanding daily, we are definitely blessed, because we choose to win with each other, even when things seemingly try to defeat us individually.
There is hope in love, but you first have to find the hope in YOU!
